The Euro4StrokeChallenge 2011 starts!

In the last few years, the 250 Four Stroke series evolved in different ways around Europe. In some countries, the growth has been significant in others we have seen more or less the same as in the past and in some, unfortunately important countries, we had to accept a drop of awareness. For sure the worldwide economic crisis of 2009 had his impact like on all other motorsport series.

At the end of October 2010 unhappy how things evolved in 2010, we had the idea to put together a European Challenge involving the strongest markets of the 250 Four Stroke scenery. Very soon all manufacturers agreed to the idea and the baselines have been decided in January 2011 in Montichiari, Italy. Since then, the organisation is running flat out.

GM Engines, Oral Engineering, Swissauto, Technique Engineering and Vampire give their full commitment for a great four stroke season 2011. All these manufacturers are the promoters of the Challenge. It's very important to say that all engines have received a new "European" homologation not based on one national Motorsport federation as in the past but a own E4TC homologation which allows to control and correct any kind of technical aspect among each other. In collaboration with the race organisers, the manufacturers will also assure the respect of this regulation.

One of the big goals has been to find the right partners to realise the Challenge. For this purpose, we met the most important organisers and decided, based on former experiences, markets and driver volume to organise the 250 Four Stroke European Challenge. We are very pleased that the idea has been well received by GP4, Swiss Trofeo Vega and Italian Trofeo 4-tempi and we can rely on their experience in organising races. Thanks to their knowledge it was also possible to choose 6 top class tracks on which the Challenge will be held.

We are proud to present to you the first
